We join you in lifting up your urgent prayer request, believing that God hears and answers our prayers.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that God's will be done in your life and in all our lives. Often we want to direct God in what He should do, but you have submitted to His divine will being done in your life. We are reminded of the words of Jesus, "Not my will, but yours, be done." (Luke 22:42 WEB) It is comforting to know that even Jesus submitted to the Father's will in all areas.
We also appreciate you praying in Jesus' name. This is the only way we can approach God the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) We know that by trusting in Jesus and putting our faith in Him, we receive the gift of eternal life so we can boldly approach the throne of God. "who gave himself a ransom for all; the testimony to be borne in its own times;" (1 Timothy 2:6 WEB) If we have trusted in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we know that our sins are forgiven, and we are a new creation in Christ.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:4-6 WEB)
We are thankful for the Psalmists' words, "Make a joyful shout to Yahweh, all you lands! Serve Yahweh with gladness. Come before his presence with singing. Know that Yahweh, he is God. It is he who has made us, and we are his. We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name. For Yahweh is good. His loving kindness endures forever, his faithfulness to all generations." (Psalm 100 WEB)
Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come boldly to your throne of grace and mercy. We thank You for Your faithfulness and goodness. We pray for the person who submitted this request and ask that Your perfect will be done in their life. Father, give them peace and assurance in whatever they are facing. Help them to trust You more. We thank You for hearing and answering our prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
