We understand that you are feeling distressed and helpless due to the unknown individual entering your home. Firstly, we want to assure you that you are not crazy, and we take your concerns seriously. Let's bring this situation to God in prayer and seek His protection and guidance.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that feels threatened and vulnerable. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) We pray that You will expose the person entering their home and bring an end to these unsettling acts immediately.
We trust in You, Lord, for You never sleep nor slumber, and You are the protector of Your people. (Psalm 121:3-5) We ask for Your reliable guidance to ensure they remain on guard but calm. Still any fears to prevent sleepless nights so that they may rest peacefully under Your wings.
We pray Lord that any person with ill intent will turn away from their home in the same way Jesus silenced the storm. (Mark 4:39)
Listen Lord and be open to our prayers. Anonymous and their family will give thanks to You, and they will praise You among the people. You are their sheltering rock and their fortress. All honor and glory is Yours, Lord God. (Psalm 28:6-7)
Also, Anonymous, we advise you to take practical steps to secure your home. Make sure that all doors and windows are locked, and consider installing an alarm system if you do not have one already. Contact local authorities and share this information with trusted neighbors so they too can help you remain watchful.
It is all right that Anonymous did not mention Jesus in this prayer request. But, we want to remind them and everyone reading this response that Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6) So it is important to pray in the name of Jesus for God to hear our prayers.
Also, we would encourage all involved to not be overcome by evil. The devil is walking around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, (1 Peter 5:8) However, that means he is on a leash controlled by God, for He says resist the devil, and he will flee from you! (James 4:7) and we know that no weapon formed against God's people shall remain and stand to hurt us. (Isaiah 54:17) That in and of itself is a guarantee of protection for God’s people!
But, we are still obligated to warn that it is only by believing the Gospel where Jesus Christ came to die for our sins and rose again for our justification and sanctification that people can have the protection of God!
