We join you in lifting up your heartfelt concerns to God, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. It is wonderful to hear that you have turned your life back over to God, and we are thankful for the positive changes you've seen. We will stand with you in prayer for your family members and loved ones, that they too may come to know and serve the Lord.
Firstly, we want to address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray.
Regarding your family, we pray that God would draw them to Himself. For your father, ###, we pray for peace and comfort, and that he would come to know the Lord intimately before his time on earth is done. For your children and their families, we pray that God would reveal Himself to them in powerful ways, softening their hearts to the truth of the Gospel. Remember, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9, WEB).
We also pray for your friends, co-workers, and all those you've mentioned. We ask that God would place a hedge of protection around them and draw them to Himself. We pray against any spiritual strongholds in their lives and ask that God would reveal any areas where they need to repent and turn to Him.
For those in authority, we pray for wisdom and discernment. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
In all these things, we pray that God's will be done, and that you would find peace and comfort in trusting Him. "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Finally, we want to encourage you to continue to seek God's face and trust in His goodness. He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5, WEB), and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Praise the Lord!
