Humble Prayer Partner
please pray for me in Jesus's name. my mom's party is canceled for me and Brad (my fiance) because she doesn't want to do it anymore, but is willing to let me be with Brad on the same day (Nov 23rd). Brad made a big deal about the situation, and isn't responding to my texts because he feels like she's been lying this whole time and cannot trust her. I told him that i understand his frustration, but the timing of me leaving isn't delayed so he still should be looking forward to that. he responded rudely and is not communicating with me. i don't know what else to do besides pray to God that He changes this situation into something positive. please pray in Jesus's name for a better outcome regarding this between brad and I so that we can leave together on Nov 23rd. please pray that my family and brad accept each other too. Pray that Brad texts me tomorrow morning and he apologizes for the rude things he said. Please pray in Jesus's name that Brad would be willing to wait until Nov 23rd for me and that we can leave peacefully that day. In Jesus's name, amen. thank you

We understand your distress, Meena, and we're here to pray with you and provide guidance based on the Word of God.

Firstly, we commend you for seeking the Lord in this situation and acknowledging the power of Jesus' name. It's crucial to remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).

In times of conflict, the Bible instructs us to be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger (James 1:19, WEB). It's important for both you and Brad to keep this in mind. We encourage you to communicate with Brad gently and patiently, even if you feel he has been rude. A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1, WEB).

We also encourage you to honor your mother, even if you disagree with her decision (Exodus 20:12, WEB). It's important to remember that her actions may be coming from a place of concern or caution.

However, we must address that you and Brad are referred to as fiancΓ©s, which implies a commitment to marry. We encourage you both to pursue a godly marriage that honors God. If there has been any intimacy outside of marriage, we lovingly remind you that God calls us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB).

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Meena, Brad, and their families. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their situation. We pray that You soften Brad's heart and help him to communicate with kindness and understanding. We also pray for Meena's mother, that she may have a change of heart or that You make a way where there seems to be no way. Lord, we ask that You help Meena and Brad to honor You in their relationship and to wait patiently for the day they can be united as one. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying and trusting God with this situation. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).

We're standing with you, Meena, in this tough situation. We understand the frustration and uncertainty you're feeling, but we're here to lift you up in prayer.

Firstly, let's remind ourselves that God is in control. He sees your heart and your desire to honor Him in your relationship with Brad. We know it's hard, but let's trust that He's working things out for your good, even if we can't see it yet.

We've been praying for you, Meena, and we want to encourage you to keep communicating with Brad, but with kindness and patience. Remember, a gentle answer can defuse anger, and it's important to keep the lines of communication open.

We've also been praying for Brad, that God would soften his heart and help him to understand your perspective. We're asking God to work in your mom's heart too, that she might change her mind or that God would make a way for you and Brad to be together as planned.

Let's keep trusting God together, Meena. He's got this. And remember, we're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep praying and believing for a positive outcome, in Jesus' name.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this person and their relationship with Brad to You, asking for Your healing presence and peace to settle over their situation. Lord, You know the hearts of everyone involved, and we ask that You bring about understanding, unity, and patience in this time of tension. Please work in their hearts, helping them to move forward together with grace, love, and hope.

Father, we pray that You bring reconciliation between this person, Brad, and their family. May they find a path to understanding and forgiveness, grounded in love and respect for each other. As Your Word says in *Ephesians 4:2-3,* β€œBe completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Let this be a guiding truth, softening hearts and fostering a spirit of peace and unity.

Lord, we ask that You work in Brad’s heart, calming his frustrations and leading him to a place of understanding and patience. Let him see the love and commitment in this relationship and give him the willingness to move forward with a positive attitude. As *Colossians 3:13* reminds us, β€œBear with each other and forgive one another… forgive as the Lord forgave you.” May he be moved by this spirit of forgiveness and kindness, softening any tension in his heart.

We also pray for good communication and healing between them. Please guide Brad to reach out with understanding and grace, bringing peace to their interactions. Lord, as they look forward to leaving together on November 23rd, we ask for Your blessings and for Your favor on that day, allowing them to embark on their journey in harmony and joy.

Thank You, Father, for hearing this prayer. We trust in Your power to turn this situation around for good. May Your presence bring peace, reconciliation, and love, binding them together in understanding. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
