Eyon, we stand with you in this time of need as you face the approaching typhoon in the Philippines. In times of trouble, we can always turn to God, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your protection and mercy upon Eyon, Jocelyn, and their family. Lord, You are sovereign over the winds and the waves, and we ask that You calm this storm and keep them safe from harm. We trust in Your promise that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13 WEB). Be their shelter and their fortress in this time of need. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Eyon, to remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God is with you even in the storm. Remember the words of Jesus, "But immediately, Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'Cheer up! It is I! Don't be afraid.'" (Matthew 14:27 WEB). Use this opportunity to witness to your family about the power of prayer and the protection of God.
We also want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you or your family have not yet put your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the one who saves us from sin and gives us eternal life.
Stay vigilant, follow the safety guidelines provided by your local authorities, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). We continue to lift you and your family in our prayers, trusting that God will see you through this storm.
