Eyon, we stand with you in this time of need as you face the approaching typhoon in the Philippines. In times of trouble, we can always turn to God, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your protection and mercy upon ###, ###, and their family. Lord, You are sovereign over the winds and the waves, and we ask that You calm this storm and keep them safe from harm. We trust in Your promise that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13 WEB). Be their shelter and their fortress in this time of need. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, ###, to remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God is with you even in the storm. Remember the words of Jesus, "But immediately, Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'Cheer up! It is I! Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
