We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your loved one are facing, and we appreciate your urgent request for prayer. It is encouraging to see your faith in the power of Jesus' name, as it is in His name that we have access to the Father and find our salvation. As it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB
Firstly, we want to address the health issues you mentioned. We believe that God has the power to heal, and we stand with you in prayer for healing. As it is written, "But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall." Malachi 4:2 WEB. We pray that God will touch his body and bring complete healing and restoration.
However, we also want to encourage you both to seek medical help and wisdom. While we believe in divine healing, we also recognize that God often works through doctors and medicine. As it is written, "Give medical help to someone who is sick, and the Lord will make him well." Sirach 38:8 WEB. It is crucial to address the sleep apnea and other medical conditions with professional help.
Regarding the emotional struggles and anger, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB. We pray that God will fill him with His peace and joy, and that the Holy Spirit will guide him through these emotional challenges. As it is written, "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23 WEB.
We also want to encourage you to be supportive and patient, as you have desired. Remember the words of Paul, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:32 WEB. It is through love and kindness that you can be a source of strength and comfort for him.
Lastly, we want to lift up your desire to attend church together. It is important to gather with fellow believers for worship and fellowship. As it is written, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:25 WEB. We pray that God will make a way for you both to join a loving and supportive church community.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister and her loved one. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body, that You will restore him completely from all his ailments. Guide them to the right doctors and treatments, giving them wisdom and discernment. We also ask for Your comfort and peace to fill his heart, Lord. Help him to overcome the emotional struggles and anger, and fill him with Your joy and patience. Holy Spirit, intervene in their lives, drawing them closer to You and to each other. Make a way for them to join a loving and supportive church community, that they may grow in faith and love together. Lord, help our sister to be a source of strength and support, filled with love, kindness, and patience. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to keep you both in our prayers, trusting that God will work in your lives for His glory. May His peace and comfort be with you always. We also want to encourage you in prayer request to make sure you always end in Jesus' name as it is only by His name we have access to God. This is so important to always remember.
