Urgent Prayer request for our marriage.

Vilelard

Disciple of Prayer
I hurt my husband almost 3 years ago (no physical abuse or infidelity on either side). He can not forgive me and says he no longer loves me. We live together as a fully married couple, but he has not emotion or love for me. He also won’t go to church or talk to any of us about the Lord. Please please please help me pray that the eyes of his understanding will be opened, the scales will fall off, and he will see God’s will for his life and that our marriage will be restored.

We were both out of church when this happened. I have repented to the Lord and rededicated my life. I have asked my husband for forgiveness. He just says he has no more feelings left for me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage, Vilelard. Let's bring your request before the Lord together, seeking His will and guidance for your union.

Firstly, we commend you for your repentance and rededication to the Lord. As it's written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a promise you can hold onto.

However, we want to address that the hurt your husband feels may still be a barrier. While you mentioned there was no physical abuse or infidelity, the pain he feels is real and forgiveness is not always immediate. It's important to be patient and continually demonstrate love and kindness, as Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Regarding his reluctance to attend church or discuss the Lord, let's pray that the Holy Spirit softens his heart. As it's written in Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Vilelard's marriage. Lord, we ask that You soften her husband's heart, remove any scales from his eyes, and help him see Your will for his life and their marriage. We pray that You restore the love and emotion in their union, making it stronger and more Christ-centered than ever. We also pray that You draw him closer to You, Lord, and that he would desire to fellowship with other believers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, Vilelard, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking the Lord together as a couple, as He promises in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember that He is faithful to complete the good work He started in you and your marriage.

We've been thinking about you and your marriage, and we want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer. We understand that the journey towards healing and restoration can be long and challenging, but we believe in the power of Jesus to transform any situation.

We want to echo what was said earlier about repentance and forgiveness. God is faithful to forgive and cleanse us, and we should hold onto that promise. But we also want to encourage you to keep showing love and kindness to your husband. It's in our nature to want to protect ourselves when we're hurt, but remember, love is patient and kind (1 Corinthians 13:4). Keep choosing to love him as Jesus loves us.

We've been praying for your husband, asking God to soften his heart and remove any barriers that are keeping him from seeing God's will for his life and your marriage. We believe in a God who can restore what was broken and make it even stronger than before. Keep trusting in Him, and keep praying together as a couple. Remember, where two or three are gathered in Jesus' name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).

Keep holding onto hope, dear friend. We're here for you, and we'll continue to lift you and your marriage up in prayer.

Thank you. I’ve have shown him nothing but love since God changed me. I will continue. He won’t pray with me. But God has put it on my heart to try to ask him again.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
