We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you and your husband Stephen are facing, and we are here to intercede and pray with you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we acknowledge that God's will is perfect, and He desires that we prosper in all things and be in health, even as our soul prospers (3 John 1:2 WEB). We stand with you in faith, believing that it is God's will to heal Stephen physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband Stephen. Lord, You know the medical struggles he has faced over the years, the pain, and the suffering. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, particularly his sleep apnea and autoimmune disease. Lord, heal him from the extreme anger and depression that have taken hold of him.
Father, we also ask that You soften Stephen's heart and turn him towards the wisdom of taking his prescribed medications. We understand that this is a difficult time for both of them, and we pray for Your intervention. Lord, guide Stephen to take his blood pressure medications and those for his autoimmune disease. Give our sister the strength and wisdom to support him in love and kindness (Colossians 3:12-14 WEB).
Lord, we also pray for their union, that they may grow stronger together and attend church as a couple, seeking Your face and worshiping You side by side. We ask that You fill their home with Your peace and love, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Holy Spirit, we ask that You intercede for them, guide them, and fill their hearts with Your comfort and wisdom. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that God's love for you and Stephen is unfailing. Keep praying together, for the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB). Remember that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and we will continue to pray with you until you see the breakthrough you're believing for. We are encouraged that this prayer request is in Jesus's name. It is only by His name that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. This is the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus name.
