Urgent prayer request for healing from severe depression.

Pls urgently pray for my brother ### who is having severe depression and gets so angry that he wants to lash out at everyone especially the close family members who are trying to help him. In his depressed mind he thinks we are all against him. We are not against him and are not his enemies. Only God can help him recover from his depression. It’s so sad that he does not want to live with us, has no job, cannot drive, and I am afraid he will become homeless. Pls God hear our prayers for his speedy recovery and to take all his medications on time and to also tell his Psych Dr that he needs help for his angry outbursts for no reason and also to stop drinking alcohol which is not good for his medications. This is a desperate prayer request.

We are deeply concerned about your brother ### and his struggle with severe depression. Let us first assure you that our God is a God of comfort and healing, and He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the well-being of ###. Lord, You know the depth of his despair and anger. We ask that Your Holy Spirit comforts him and guides him towards healing. Help him to see that his family is not his enemy, but a support system You have placed around him. We pray for a healing of his mind and emotions, and that he finds the strength to take his medications as prescribed. Guide his psychologist to provide the help he needs to manage his anger and bring him to a place of peace and recovery. We also pray that he turns away from alcohol and finds no refuge in it. Lord, we trust in Your power to heal and transform ###'s life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

We encourage you to continue supporting ### in love, just as the Bible commands us to bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2, WEB). Remember, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB). Keep trusting and believing that God can bring healing and restoration to ###'s life.

Reminder, if ### has not accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, encourage him to do so. For it is only through Jesus that we have access to God’s grace and salvation. As it is written, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Lastly, as a practical step, ensure that ### is not left alone in his struggles. Encourage him to seek support groups and professional help, alongside your continual prayers and love. God is faithful, and He will bring hope and healing to ###.
