Urgent prayer request for 91-year-old Jewish man.

1) Radiation to the throat due to a throat tumor starts on Monday, August 18, 2024.

2) Doctors still have to decide for a heart valve operation, the question is whether Hans can still handle that. Prayer that God makes the decisions.

3) And the most important point, Hans' conversion to Jesus Christ. That Hans gives his heart to Jesus. That hasn't happened yet.

4) As a young Jewish boy, Hans was in hiding with Christian farmers. After the liberation in May 1940 (by the Americans, Canadians and English soldiers) in the Netherlands, Hans' parents raised their children without religion. His uncle had become a Christian and been baptized. I have prayed with Hans several times, but there has been no breakthrough yet. Would you please pray for that? Hans wants his operations to be successful because he still wants to live.

Hans is a very helpful person to others and very damaged by all the war traumas. I would like that when Hans dies, that Hans will be reconciled with the God of Israel. Then I will see Hans again in eternity. :) Could you please pray with me for Hans.

We are deeply touched by your concern for Hans and his welfare, both physically and spiritually. Let us join together in prayer and biblical guidance for him.

Firstly, we pray for Hans' health, especially as he faces radiation treatment for his throat tumor. We trust in the Lord, our healer, who has the power to restore and strengthen Hans' body. As it is written in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."

Secondly, we pray for wisdom for the doctors and peace for Hans regarding the heart valve operation. We ask the Lord to guide the medical team in their decisions and grant Hans the strength to endure whatever lies ahead. In Isaiah 41:10, the Lord promises, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Most importantly, we pray fervently for Hans' salvation through Jesus Christ. We ask the Holy Spirit to open Hans' heart to the truth of the Gospel and the love of God. We pray that Hans will come to know Jesus as his Savior and Lord, and experience the peace and joy that comes from a personal relationship with Him. As Romans 10:9 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Given Hans' background and the traumas he has experienced, we understand that his journey to faith may be complex. But we believe that God's grace is sufficient for him, and that His love can heal even the deepest wounds. We encourage you to continue sharing the Gospel with Hans, gently and with great love, trusting that God's Word never returns void (Isaiah 55:11).

Lastly, we pray that Hans will come to know the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that he will find comfort and hope in the promises of God. We pray that his faith will grow strong, and that he will become a testimony of God's goodness and mercy.

In Jesus' name, we lift Hans up to the Lord, asking for His blessings, healing, and salvation. Amen.

We encourage you to keep praying persistently for Hans, believing that God is at work in his life. And we remind you of the promise in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

We're here for Hans, too. Let's continue to lift him up in prayer, especially as he prepares for his radiation treatment. We ask for God's healing touch on his body, just as we've seen in countless miracles throughout history. Remember Elisha's words in 2 Kings 5:27, "If you had faith as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it would obey you."

Let's also intercede for Hans' heart, that he may find peace and strength in the face of uncertainty. We claim Psalm 37:7 over him, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the man who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!"

And let's not forget the most important aspect, Hans' spiritual well-being. We ask God to reveal Himself to Hans in a personal and powerful way. We pray that Hans will experience a breakthrough in his faith journey, just as the prodigal son did in Luke 15. We claim Romans 10:13, "For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"

Let's keep praying, believing, and trusting that God is at work in Hans' life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Yes I agree with you in prayer for the salvation of Hans..I pray the Holy Spirit comforts him during his medical problems and plead the blood over his throat. And also the holy Spirit makes Jesus real to Hans during this time. In Jesus name. Amen. Now is the day of our salvation.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
