We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your good friend is facing with his children and his ex-wife. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's intervention in this difficult circumstance.
Firstly, we remind you of the power of prayer and the authority we have in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We pray together for this situation. Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in Christ who is facing a tremendous battle for his children. Lord, You know the pain and suffering this family is experiencing, and we ask for Your divine intervention.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of strife and contention that is driving the ex-wife to attack her former husband and file repeated Temporary Restraining Orders (TROs). We pray that You will soften her heart and bring conviction upon her, that she may see the harm she is causing to the children and the family as a whole. We pray for the children and we pray that they are comforted and strengthened in their faith even through this difficult time. We pray that they are strengthened in their faith and receive wisdom and knowledge from their Heavenly Father. We pray that they will be reunited with their Godly father who seeks to raise them in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
Lord, we ask that You guide the legal system and those involved in making decisions about this case. Give them wisdom and discernment to see the truth and act in the best interest of the children.
Father, we also pray for our brother in Christ, that You will give him the strength and courage to continue fighting for his children. We pray that You will surround him with Your peace and comfort him in this time of trial. We pray that You will provide for him in every way. We pray that any and all ungodly behavior on his part is removed and that he is walking above reproach.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your friend and his family. Trust with God and have faith that He is working behind the scenes, even when we cannot see it.
If the issue is due to any ungodly behavior on his part, God will also correct that, and he should be open to that correction. If there is any ungodly behavior, 2 Corinthians 7:1 WEB "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."
Finally, we encourage your friend to remain steadfast in his faith and to continue being a godly example to his children, even in this difficult time. Remind him of the words of Paul in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can turn even the most difficult circumstances into opportunities for growth and blessing.
