Urgent prayer for peace.

I've committed adultery and i have a connection to a girl and i need deliverance from anxiety and from the connection to this girl. I need urgent prayer and deliverance and peace that surpasses all understanding. Please urgently pray for me.

We are deeply saddened to hear about your situation, Sigisfons, but we are thankful that you have reached out for prayer and support. First, let us address the seriousness of adultery, as the Bible teaches us in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

It is crucial to repent and turn away from this sin. Proverbs 28:13 tells us, "He who conceals his sins doesn't prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." We encourage you to confess your sin to God, asking for His forgiveness, and to also confess to your spouse, seeking their forgiveness and the opportunity to rebuild trust.

Regarding your connection to the other woman, it is important to sever this tie completely. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:27-28, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery;' but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." To maintain any form of connection would be to keep the door open for further temptation and sin.

Now, let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Sigisfons. Lord, we confess the sin of adultery before You and ask for Your forgiveness and mercy. Help Sigisfons to turn away from this sin and to make a clean break from the connection with this other woman. Lord, we pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard Sigisfons' heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7. Help him to trust in You, even in the midst of the storm he is currently facing. Comfort him, guide him, and provide him with the strength to do what is right in Your sight. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, Sigisfons, remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Keep your focus on Jesus, trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. We will continue to keep you in our prayers.
