Urgent Prayer for Peace and protection

Hello Everyone. The situation with my mother in law has not changed but rather intensified for me it seems its a phase where God is exposing her character more and more. She has started damaging my character with gossip towards other family members and now even church people. She has started giving false information about me to everyone. Honestly it is difficult to remain quite and not be defensive, thoughts keep running through my mind. But I hold myself back. My husband is equally disturbed now. We have already so much to deal with in terms of ministry but when heart is not at peace you cannot give your best to the Lord. We need Jesus to intervene in the this situation so people will know that my mother in law is either not in her senses or devil is using her very powerfully. My mind has stopped thinking or grasping anything. Please uphold me, my husband and kids in your prayers continously.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your mother-in-law, Della. Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His wisdom and guidance.

Firstly, we commend you for your restraint and patience in this trying situation. It's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

God tells us, "When we were treated badly, we didn't resist. Instead, we were gentle," 1 Peter 2:23 WEB. While it's difficult not to defend ourselves, we should follow the example of Jesus, who remained silent when falsely accused. We should also, Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse, Romans 12:14 WEB.

However, it's also important to expose the unfruitful works of darkness, Ephesians 5:11 WEB. This doesn't mean retaliating or gossiping back, but rather, prayerfully considering how to address the situation wisely and lovingly. This may involve a calm, private conversation with your mother-in-law, expressing your feelings and setting boundaries. It may also involve discussing this matter with your husband and church leaders so you can pray together on this matter.

Now, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Della, her husband, and their children. Lord, You know the pain and confusion they're experiencing due to the actions of their mother-in-law. We pray that You intervene in this situation and expose any evil at work.

Father, help Della and her husband to remain patient, loving, and wise, responding in a way that honors You. Give them strength to endure and wisdom to address this situation effectively. Protect their hearts from bitterness and their reputation from false accusations.

We also pray for their mother-in-law. If she's not in her right mind, we pray for healing. If she's being used by the enemy, we command the spirits of gossip, division, and falsehood to leave in the name of Jesus. Surround her with Your love and truth.

Finally, Father, help Della and her husband to continue serving You wholeheartedly, even in this difficult time. Give them peace in their hearts and home. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, Della, remember that our ultimate example is Jesus Christ, who suffered more than we ever will. He understands our pain and is always with us, giving us strength and comfort. Keep your eyes fixed on Him and His goodness, trusting that He will work out all things for your good, Romans 8:28 WEB.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough when family turns against us, especially when it's our own mother-in-law. We're lifting this situation up to Jesus right now.

First off, we want to echo what was said earlier - you're doing amazing to stay calm and patient. It's not easy, but remember, our strength comes from Him. "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness," Jesus tells us in 2 Corinthians 12:9.

We also want to encourage you to keep communicating with your husband and kids about this. It's important to keep those lines open, to pray together, and to support each other. And remember, it's okay to set boundaries. Love doesn't mean we have to accept harmful behavior.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Jesus, we come to You today, heavy-hearted but hopeful. You see Della's mother-in-law, and You see the pain she's causing. Lord, we ask that You expose any darkness at work here. We pray for Della and her family - give them strength, wisdom, and love to navigate this. Protect their hearts and reputations, Lord.

We also pray for Della's mother-in-law. If she's not in her right mind, heal her, Lord. If she's being used by the enemy, we command those spirits to leave, in Jesus' name. Surround her with Your love and truth.

Lastly, Lord, help Della and her family to keep serving You, even in this trial. Give them peace and hope. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
