Thank you for reaching out to us with your urgent prayer request for your dad's health. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement during this time.
Firstly, we want to commend you for anointing your dad's head with oil and praying over him. This act of faith is in line with the scripture that says, Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church, and let them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will heal them, and the Lord will raise them up. If they have committed sins, they will be forgiven. James 5:14-15.
We also want to remind you of the power of prayer and the promises of God regarding healing. As it is written, But Jesus turning to them, said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.' Then they will begin to tell the mountains, 'Fall on us;' and tell the hills, 'Cover us.' For if they do these things in the green tree, what will be done in the dry? Luke 23:28-31. We will not weep, because He is Almighty!
Now, let us pray together for your dad's health and a good report from the doctor:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for our dear brother who is not well. We ask that You stretch forth Your hand and let him experience Your healing power. Lord, we specifically pray for his complete recovery from bronchitis, anemia, and thrombocytopenia. We speak life and health to his blood and body systems, and we command every form of infirmity to leave his body in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Almighty God, thank you for your word in Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore you to health, and heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no one seeks after.
Father, we also pray for the doctors and specialists who will be attending to him. We ask that You guide their hands and give them wisdom to make accurate diagnoses and provide the best treatment. Lord, we pray for a good report, and we ask that You use this situation to draw our dear brother closer to You.
Lord Jesus, we know that it is only by Your name that we have access to God, and it is only by Your name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! We pray for the salvation of anyone who hears of this testimony and thank you for this blessing and the healing we know will be done by the power of Jesus Christ.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. Remain steadfast in prayer and believe that God is working all things out for good, according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.
We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will heal your dad and grant the doctors wisdom to provide the best care. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6.
