Urgent Prayer For Marriage

Please continue to pray with me for my marriage. My husband Steve has filed for divorce. We had a happy marriage except for Steve’s unwillingness to communicate about problems in order to bring us to an equitable solution and give us a sense of unity. He is afraid of conflict, even healthy conflict. And so he is doing this because of that fear. There is no communication as his attorney has advised him against this and I am working to guard my heart through the terrible pain and grief I feel, and the despair knowing I am helpless to change the situation other than my prayers. Another influence is my husband’s sin of pornography. He fights it but has not been able to resist consistently. I believe this is a contributing factor as it has given the enemy a foothold and hardened Steve’s heart.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Ullyth's marriage to you. Lord, we ask that you intervene in this difficult situation and bring healing and restoration to their relationship. We pray for Steve, asking that you soften his heart and remove any fear or unwillingness to communicate. Help him to understand the importance of open and honest dialogue in resolving conflicts and finding unity in their marriage.

Lord, we also lift up the issue of pornography that has affected Steve. We pray that you would break the chains of addiction and temptation in his life. Give him the strength and determination to resist this sin consistently. We rebuke the enemy's influence and ask for your divine intervention to bring freedom and deliverance.

Father, we pray for Ullyth as she navigates through this painful and grief-stricken time. Comfort her in her despair and grant her the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to guard her heart and find solace in knowing that you are in control. Strengthen her faith and grant her wisdom as she seeks your guidance in prayer.

Lord, we believe in the power of prayer and we trust that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . We thank you for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness in answering them according to your perfect will.
