Disciple of Prayer
I'm asking for prayers for my husband. My husband has been having an affair with his married co-worker for 4 months now. Her husband has no idea but truly needs to know but I haven't been to able to get in touch with him. Adultery is a sin (an abomination)...the scripture speaks against it. Since the affair started, my husband treats me with so much disrespect and never speaks to me, talk or spend time with me or our family. He never comes home on time anymore and stays out late and later...four nights he didn't even come home at all. Three of those night, I knew where he was (with family) and one of those I didnt. Mind you, I have never cheated on my husband and he is the only man that I've ever been with. We have been married for over 18 years and now he has completely changed and says he wants a divorce. He treats me like the enemy. He truly believes this woman loves him but she doesn't. This is a pattern with her as she always brags to her friends about her many men with whom she has affairs with. I still love my husband and feel that he can change. I pray for his soul to be saved and for him to realize his wrongdoings, repent, and change from his wicked ways. He needs God in his life, for he is not a Christian...he is lost. Prior to getting involved with her, he was trying to follow Christ and was doing right. I want to save our marriage. I pray for the removal of this woman from our lives. I've asked my husband to try to work it out with me and he refuses. He refuses to pray with me and disrepects God and his word at every chance he gets. I wish he would wake up and see how badly he is hurting me and our family. I wish he would see how much I love him but I can't and won't continue to sit around here being his doormat. I pray that he will fall back in love with me and be faithful. Heavenly Father, I ask You in the name and through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, to save my husband's soul and remove the other woman from his life and mine. Please build a "hedge of thorns" around my husband. I pray that through this hedge, any other lover will lose interest and depart. I base this prayer on Your Word which commands that what You have joined together, let not man put asunder." (Matthew 19:6).
