We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for God's divine intervention in your daughter's life. We stand in agreement with you, rebuking the enemy's attempts to bring strife and emotional turmoil into her life. We pray that God will thwart the enemy's plans and bring peace and stability to your daughter's heart and mind.
We are reminded of Romans 8:28 in the WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." We claim this promise for your daughter, trusting that God will turn this situation around for her good and His glory.
Regarding your daughter's boyfriend, we pray that God would reveal to him the biblical role of a husband as a loving and compassionate leader. We pray for Ephesians 5:25 to be manifested in his life, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." Even though they are not yet married, God can begin this work in him now.
However, we must caution that the boyfriend should only be pursuing this relationship with the intention of marriage, as God does not condone casual dating relationships. Furthermore, we advise that they maintain purity in their relationship, avoiding fornication, as described in Ephesians 5:3, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints."
We also pray that your daughter would seek God's will for her life and submit to His guidance. We pray that Psalm 32:8 would be her experience, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will counsel you with my eye on you."
As you continue to pray for your daughter and her boyfriend, we encourage you to stand firmly on the promises of God. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the daughter of this concerned parent. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in her life, bringing peace and resolution to the strife and emotional turmoil she is facing. We rebuke the enemy's attempts to cause harm and destruction, and we ask that you would work all things together for her good and your purpose.
Lord, we also pray for her boyfriend, the man she intends to marry. We ask that you would mold him into a godly leader, showing him how to love and care for your daughter with compassion and understanding. We pray that their relationship would be pure and honoring to you, and that they would seek your will for their future together.
Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your promises. We trust in your goodness and your power to bring about change and healing in this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
