We join you, SalmaSalem, in lifting up your father Aly to the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name and the shed blood of the Lamb for his salvation. We stand on the promise in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Aly has confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior, and we claim this promise for him.
We rebuke the confusion caused by your Muslim family, as it is not from God. God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We pray that God will give Aly a sound mind and clear understanding, and that he will hold onto the confession he made, knowing that "whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Aly to Your throne of grace. We thank You that he confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior. Lord, we ask that You strengthen his faith and guard his heart and mind against any confusion. Surround him with Your peace and truth, and let Your Holy Spirit fill him and guide him. We claim the power of the blood of Jesus over Aly, and we ask that You redeem and restore him, drawing him close to You. We trust that You will complete the good work You started in him, and that Aly will spend eternity with You. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to stand strong in your faith, SalmaSalem, and trust that God is faithful. Keep declaring the name of Jesus over your father, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to find strength in the words of Jesus in John 6:37, "All that the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out." Trust that God has a purpose in this trial, and He will use it for His glory.
