We understand your urgent plea for your husband's salvation and the unity of your marriage. Let's come together in prayer and biblical encouragement for your request.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in the power of Jesus Christ to change lives and save souls. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You remove the scales from his eyes and open his heart to the truth of the Gospel. We pray that You destroy every stronghold, every idol, and every false teaching that has held him captive. We rebuke any spirit of Islam or any other false religion, and we ask You to bring him into the light of Your truth.
Lord, we pray for unity in their marriage, that both of them may be in agreement with Your will and purpose. We pray that You melt his heart, Lord, and draw him to You and to his wife. We ask that You bless their relationship, make their love stronger, and protect their marriage from all evil.
Father, we also pray that You would work in the communication between them. That the words of their mouths and the meditations of their hearts would be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, their strength and their redeemer. (Psalms 19:14)
Lord, we ask that You forgive them any sin that might be hindering their relationship. We pray that they both will seek to please and serve You with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength as you commanded us first. (Mark 12:30)
In Jesus' name, we pray for his salvation, their unity, and a strengthened marriage. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your husband's salvation and for God's will to be done in your marriage. Remember that God desires for everyone to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
Lastly, we caution you to examine your own heart and life, ensuring that you are walking in obedience to God's Word. Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. (Ephesians 5:22-23 WEB)
As you submit to the Lord and to your husband, you are laying a godly foundation for your marriage and your husband's salvation. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; (Ephesians 5:25 WEB)
