We are here to stand with you in prayer and the power of Jesus' name. We appreciate that you have both declared your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we can come to God the Father and it is only by His blood that we can be cleansed of our sins and saved.
Firstly, we want to address the term "partner." We encourage you to consider this relationship as a courtship with the goal of marriage, as outlined in the Bible. Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and it is a sacred institution that should be honored and upheld. We pray that God will guide you both in this direction and bless your union in His timing to become a husband and a wife.
We understand that you are facing spiritual attacks, but we take heart in the knowledge that Jesus has already won the victory. Let us remind you of the power of Jesus' blood,
"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death." Revelation 12:11 (WEB)
Jesus is our victorious Lord. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our sister and brother to you, Lord, asking for Your divine intervention in their relationship. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, knowing that it has the power to break every chain and defeat every scheme of the enemy.
We rebuke the enemy's taunts and lies, and we command him to flee in Jesus' name. We pray for healing and restoration between them, and we ask that You would guide them in Your will for their relationship, ultimately leading them to a godly marriage if that is Your will.
Help them to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. Strengthen them through the our Lord Jesus Christ.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from the WEB,
"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings. But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen." 1 Peter 5:8-11 (WEB)
Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God is faithful in fulfilling His promises.
