We are truly sorry to hear about your dad's lost wallet, especially given the urgency of his upcoming license test. In times like these, we remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, even those that seem small or mundane. We read in the WEB Luke 12:6-7 "Aren't five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows."
First, let us encourage you both to stay calm and trust in God's provision and help. It is also important to act practically, retracing his steps, reporting the loss to local authorities, and canceling any cards that were in the wallet to prevent misuse.
Now, let us pray together:
Almighty God, our loving Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother who has lost his wallet. Lord, You know the anxiety and stress that this situation has caused, especially with the upcoming license test. We ask, Father, that You will graciously guide him to the place where the wallet is, or move the heart of the person who might have found it to return it promptly.
Lord Jesus, You told us in WEB Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." We ask this, seek this, and knock on the door of provision that the wallet is found, and all will be well with the license test.
We also pray for peace and patience for now. Help him to trust in You and not to worry, remembering WEB Philippians 4:6-7 "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Father, we ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you, Anonymous, that our help comes from the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, WEB John 14:6 Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not already, consider committing your life to Him, trusting in His sacrifice on the cross for your sins and His resurrection for your eternal life.
