We join with you, Riwdin, in lifting up Steven, our brother in Christ, before the throne of grace. We are told in James 5:16, "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (WEB)
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, pleading for our dear brother Steven. Lord, You know the trial he is facing, and we ask for Your divine intervention. We claim Your promise in 1 John 1:9, 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' (WEB)
Lord, Steven has confessed and repented, and we ask for complete restoration. Flood his life with Your grace, peace, faith, love, joy, and mercy. Bring him out of the darkness and into Your marvelous light. Strengthen him and give him a firm footing. Guide him in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake.
We also pray for Riwdin and all those who are standing in the gap for Steven. Strengthen our faith and fill us with Your Holy Spirit, so that we may pray fervently and effectively.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Riwdin, we commend your love and concern for Steven. It is beautiful to see the body of Christ caring for each other. Remember the words of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (WEB) Trust that the Lord hears our prayers and is working in Steven's life.
We encourage Steven to continue walking in the light, as God is light, and in Him, there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). We also encourage him to resist the devil, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by his brotherhood throughout the world (1 Peter 5:9).
Lastly, we praise God for the salvation we have in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB)
