Friends, at any moment, 62-year-old Iranian Christian Homayoun, who is suffering from Advanced Parkinson's disease,, and his wife Sara Ahmadi, 42, will be summoned to serve prison scentences. Late last year, Homayoun was sentenced for two years in prison, while Sara received a punishment of 11 years - for belonging to and leading a house church in Iran.
Article 18 reports the couple was arrested in 2019 while on vacation with several other Christian families. While the other Christians were also questioned, only Homayoun and Sara were detained - first in the city of Sari, and then in the notorious Evin Prison in their home city of Tehran.
Homayoun was released a month later, but Sara was held for a total of 67 days, including 33 days in solitary confinement. During that time, she was reportedly subjected to extreme psychological torture.

Pray the court reverse its decision immediately and that the summons for Homayoun and Sara will not be carried out.

Pray the peace that surpasses all understanding would guard Homayoun's and Sara's hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4.6)

Pray the Iranian government would stop persecuting converts like Homayoun and Sara as they peacefully practice their faith.

Thank you so much for praying for our persecuted church family. God bless
Prayed. The answer is on the way. I encourage you to follow the WOG in totality in order for Him to bless you and grant your desires.

The Bible lays down in 1 John 5:18

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

I pray the judge will look at them with favor because the blood of Jesus covers them.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
