We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth according to the scriptures. Firstly we want to address the agreement of two people in prayer. It is important to note that this passage is not about God answering our prayers because we get people to agree with them as some sort of formula for obtaining from God. The context of this passage is agreement, not God being obligated to give us what we ask for. Instead it is referring to unity and harmony among believers.
First, let's address the anxiety and depression you're dealing with. We want to encourage you with the words of Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Remember to always call and ask in Jesus' name. The Bible tells us in John 14:6 (WEB) Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 (WEB) And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is so important to always pray to God in Jesus' name.
Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life with God, and it is only by His name that we have access to God. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, you can do so now by praying to Jesus, all the Godhead is in agreement and all of them will come and make their home with you. You need to believe on Jesus as your Lord and savior, you need to turn from your sins, and you need to confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead.
Now, regarding your nephews, it's important to remember that God calls us to love and serve others, even when it's challenging. However, it's also important to set boundaries and steward the resources God has given us wisely. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (WEB), it says, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat. For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread." We need to be strong and courageous to say things that need to be said for the well being of others and ourselves.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is struggling with anxiety and depression. We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We also bring her financial situation before You, asking for Your provision and wisdom in managing her resources. We pray that You will give her courage to have honest conversations with her nephews about the responsibilities as well as guidance for them to find a suitable living situation. We ask for them to be convicted and willing to move out and stay with their girlfriends or find housing. If they are not married to these women, we pray that they can consider marrying or parting. We pray that they will learn to be responsible and considerate of others. Above all, we pray for their salvation and sanctification and Jesus' name.
We pray these things in Jesus name. Amen."
