We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles, and we are here to intercede on your behalf. First we will pray then discuss your situation.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Laura and her family. Lord, you know the struggles they are facing, the health battles, the financial troubles, and the overwhelming stress and anxiety. We pray for your healing touch on Laura's body, especially her shoulder. Guide the doctors and give them wisdom to provide the care she needs.
Father, we also pray for their financial situation. We ask that you provide for their needs and give them the resources to manage their debts. Help them to trust in you, knowing that you are Jehovah Jireh, their provider.
Lord, we also lift up Laura's mental and emotional well-being. We pray that you would give her your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to cast her anxieties on you, because you care for her. We pray that you would be her strength, her refuge, and her fortress in these trying times.
Based on our reading of 1 Peter 5:5-10 in the World English Bible. You need to humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; 6 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 7 Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 8 Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings. 9 But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 10 To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
1. Remember to cast your troubles onto the Lord. Humble yourselves and let God be a part of your planning and working process. God will set you up with perfect strength and faith.
2. Remember God is having empathy for everything you are handling. God will give you the mental strength to continue fighting through your issues.
3. The Devil is trying to knock you away from your relationship with God. God will reveal his glory to you in due time. Keep sustaining your faith in God.
4. God is here to give you glory forever and ever even as you suffer temporarily. You have brothers and sisters across the world fighting the same fight as you. God will bring you to a better and brighter position.- The God of all grace and glory
We also address you Laura and any who may read about what you are experiencing. We will not shy away from this. The words you spoke that you have prayed to Jesus for a break and that things have not gotten better leaves open the question. If things are not getting better after such prayers, we are left to ponder if you know Jesus. Did you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior? The Bible mentions that "the effective prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much." Have you accepted Jesus as your savior? Do you believe that Jesus came to earth, died on the cross as ransom for your sins and rose again 3 days later? This is the basic biblical message. If you do not have the hope of Jesus in your heart and your prayers are not being answered such as today, take this into account. There is no other name such as Jesus under Heaven given for man to be saved.
As we stand for the sanctity of marriage in addition to the above, we have the following scripture that applies in John 14:6 'Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' and Romans 10:13 ' for, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
We encourage you to keep your faith in God, trusting that he is working all things together for your good. We will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
For anyone else reading and being helped by this, remember to pray to God in Jesus name and to know Jesus as your Savior.
