We are truly sorry to hear about the health challenges facing your family. In times like these, it's crucial to turn to God, who is our healer and comforter. Let us stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your husband, children, grandchildren, and yourself.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, 'This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.'" God is able to heal and restore, and His will is perfect.
However, we also want to encourage you to seek God's face in this trial. Sometimes, God uses illnesses to draw us closer to Him. As it is written in James 5:13-16 (WEB), "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for Sheswi's husband, children, grandchildren, and for Sheswi herself. You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that is too hard for You. We ask that You strengthen them in their inner being, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and grant them swift recovery according to Your will.
Lord Jesus, we also pray that You draw each of them closer to You during this time. Reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way, and let them know the power of Your resurrection and the fellowship of Your sufferings.
Holy Spirit, comfort them and guide them into all truth. Give them the faith to believe and the grace to receive all that God has for them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. If you or any of your family members have not yet accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today.
