We are truly saddened to hear about this situation and we stand with you in prayer for this young woman who has been led astray. Let us first address the urgent need for intercession and guidance from the Lord.
Firstly, it is crucial to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'", and in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We must pray to God through the name of Jesus we understand His promise from John 16:23 WEB "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you".
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved daughter who has wandered from Your path. We pray that You will intervene in her life and draw her back to You. We know this is a spiritual battle and we stand in the gap for her. We rebuke the enemy's influence in her life and pray that You will break the chains of addiction and free her from the bondage of drugs.
Father, we also pray for the man she is living with, that You will soften his heart and bring him to the faith of Jesus, or remove him from her life. We cannot stand idly by and watch her be unequally yoked with an unbeliever. May his influence be removed from her life in Jesus' name.
Lord, we ask that You will not allow her to be isolated from her loved ones. We pray that You will grant wisdom and the right words to speak to her, that her heart may be open to receive Your truth. Guide her steps and bring her back to You and to her family.
We pray this in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Together, we must also address the serious issues present in this situation. The young woman is living with a man who is not her husband, this is fornication and is clearly against the word of God. As written in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality. 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Moreover, she is unequally yoked with an unbeliever, as 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB states: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
We must pray that God will convict her heart and bring her to repentance. We also pray that God will bring Christian believers into her life who will speak truth and life into her.
Lastly, take courage in the promises of the Lord in 2 Peter 3:9 WEB: "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God desires that she will return to His fold. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord.
