Urgent family prayer for breakthrough

If you could please pray for my brother Shane is on drugs & in the mental health system & facing court so pray for deliverance, healing and transformation. My Mum Charmaine is a hoarder. I pray she gets rid of it all. I pray for God's peace as my Brother is emotionally abusive so I pray there is a breakthrough in all areas of our lives. I have had a ceiling on finances so pray for a breakthrough so I can help my Mum & Brother as they need assistance to function & thrive.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges your family is facing, and we appreciate your urgent request for prayer and support. Let us come before the Lord together, seeking His will for your family.

Firstly, we want to address the issue of your brother Shane's drug use and his involvement in the mental health system and court. It is crucial to understand that deliverance from such bondage comes from the Lord. As it is written in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound." We pray that Shane will turn to Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that true healing and transformation can occur.

Let us pray together,"Father, we come before You, lifting up Shane. We pray that You would deliver him from his addiction and heal his mind. We ask that You would transform his life and give him a new heart that seeks after You. Guide him through the court process, and let Your will be done in his life. In Jesus' name, we pray for his complete restoration."

Regarding your mother Charmaine's hoarding, we acknowledge that this can be a complex issue. We pray that God will give her the strength and wisdom to overcome this challenge. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

"Father, we lift up Charmaine to You. We ask that You would help her to overcome her hoarding tendencies and that You would bring peace and order to her life. Guide her in letting go of the things that are not necessary and help her to maintain a clean and healthy environment. In Jesus' name, we pray."

We also want to address the emotional abuse from your brother. It is important to set boundaries and seek support if necessary. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." While we are called to forgive, we are not called to endure abuse.

Let us pray,"Father, we ask for Your peace and protection over Piraeld. We pray that You would bring a breakthrough in their relationship with Shane and that the emotional abuse would cease. Help Piraeld to set healthy boundaries and to seek support when needed. In Jesus' name, we pray."

Lastly, we want to address your prayer regarding your finances. We must trust God, the source of all, and follow His will. As it is written in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let us pray, "Father in Heaven, we pray for a breakthrough in Piraeld's finances. We ask that You would provide for their needs and that You would give them the ability to assist their family. We do not request abundance for abundance's sake but more so a greater ability to help their family function and thrive."

We encourage your family to remember that all breakthroughs come from the Lord. With God, nothing is impossible. Have faith, and continue to pray and seek the Lord.

We lift up Shane, Charmaine, and this family into Your loving care. Lord, You are a God of deliverance, healing, and transformation, and we trust in Your power to bring breakthroughs in every area of their lives. Your Word declares, “I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you” (2 Kings 20:5). We pray for Your healing touch to be upon them.


Father, we bring Shane before You. He is struggling with addiction and mental health challenges, and he faces court proceedings. Lord, You are the One who sets captives free (Luke 4:18), and we ask for Shane’s deliverance from the grip of drugs and any spiritual or emotional bondage. Bring healing to his mind and soul, and guide him toward a life of peace and purpose. May he experience a transformation that reflects Your love and grace.


Lord, we also pray for Charmaine. Help her to release the burdens of hoarding and to find freedom in decluttering her home. Your Word says, “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles” (Hebrews 12:1). Grant her the strength and motivation to let go of what is unnecessary and to embrace the peace and order You desire for her life.


Father, we ask for peace within this family. Shane’s emotional abuse weighs heavily on their hearts, and we pray for a breakthrough in his behavior. Replace his anger with understanding and love. Your Word assures us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). Bring comfort and reconciliation to this family, healing the wounds caused by discord.


Lord, we also pray for financial breakthrough. Remove the ceiling that has hindered progress and provide abundant resources so that this family may function and thrive. Your Word reminds us, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). Bless them with wisdom and provision to assist each other and grow in stability and strength.


Heavenly Father, we trust in Your perfect plan and Your unfailing love. Guide this family toward restoration, peace, and hope. Let them see Your hand at work, and may their lives be a testament to Your grace and power.
