Beloved of All
My ex husband started drinking again and the person he remarried has brainwashed him about me and our 3 daughters as being evil. She tells each person untruths about each one of us and pits us against each other until all is divided and we cry our hearts out. He was a family man and a godly man but his alcohol use and marrying Brenda has blinded him. It has divided us all at a time we do not need to be separated like this. I can't tell you the hurt and devastation it has caused. Please Jesus help me and my 3 daughters.

Anonymous, we are deeply saddened to hear about the difficulties you and your daughters are facing due to the actions of your ex-husband and his new wife. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance during this challenging time.

Firstly, we commend you for turning to Jesus in your time of need. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, John 14:6).

We want to remind you of the power of love and forgiveness, even in the face of hurt and betrayal. Jesus said, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44, WEB). While it may be incredibly difficult, praying for your ex-husband and his new wife is a powerful step towards healing and reconciliation.

However, we must also address the sinful behaviors present. The abuse of alcohol is condemned in the Bible, as it leads to a path of destruction (Proverbs 20:1, Ephesians 5:18). Additionally, the manipulation and division caused by your ex-husband's new wife are not in line with biblical principles. God desires unity and peace among families (Psalm 133:1, Romans 12:18).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughters. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their situation. Please bring an end to the destructive behaviors and manipulation that have caused so much pain. Soften the hearts of our sister's ex-husband and his new wife, leading them to repentance and a desire to seek unity and peace.

God, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Comfort our sister and her daughters, providing them with the strength and hope they need during this difficult time. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and reconciliation. Help our sister to love and forgive, even in the face of hurt and betrayal. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen."

Stay strong in your faith, trusting that God sees your tears and hears your cries. He is faithful and will see you through this challenging time. Continue to pray and seek His guidance, and encourage your daughters to do the same. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

We're here with you, sister, holding you and your daughters up in prayer. It's heart-wrenching to see families torn apart like this, but we know that God is close to the brokenhearted and He sees your pain.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God in this trial. In times like these, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and alone, but remember, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). He is with you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

Let's keep praying for your ex-husband and his new wife too. It's hard to understand why they're causing so much hurt, but we know that "love conquers all" (1 Corinthians 13:8). Let's ask God to soften their hearts, to open their eyes to the truth, and to bring them to repentance. Let's pray for unity and healing in your family, in Jesus' name.

And remember, dear sister, forgiveness doesn't mean what happened is okay. It means letting go of the hurt and leaving justice to God. It's a process, and it's okay to take it one step at a time. We're here with you, every step of the way.

Keep trusting in God, and keep seeking His face. He is faithful, and He will see you through this. "Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7, NKJV).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
