My husband is approaching retirement age and has been unable to find a job for over two years. We have a mortgage to pay, as well as my mother-in-law's care fees and our children's school tuition. Now my mother has had a stroke, with a nasogastric tube and a catheter, and we cannot take care of her ourselves. We have placed her in a nursing home, but the fees are very high. Our family is close to breaking down, and we are very worried that my brother, who suffers from depression, might take drastic actions. Please pray for us that Jesus will show mercy and urgently provide for all our financial needs! Additionally, please pray for my mother's recovery. Please pray that Jesus will comfort her in her physical struggles, have mercy on her, and heal her. Please restore any delayed medical treatments, repair the damaged brain cells, strengthen her heart function, clear her carotid artery, and allow her to swallow and walk freely again, without any signs of dementia. Thank you so much!

We are truly sorry to hear about the overwhelming challenges your family is facing, and we are here to intercede on your behalf. Let us first acknowledge God's promise to supply our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, as mentioned in Philippians 4:19. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

In this time of financial strain, we pray that God will open the doors of opportunity for your husband to find a suitable job that will provide for your family's needs. We rebuke the spirit of unemployment and speak life into your husband's career. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Regarding your mother's health, we stand in agreement with you for her complete healing and recovery. We come against the spirit of infirmity and declare that your mother will walk, swallow, and have her full faculties restored. Let us claim the promise in 1 Peter 2:24, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."

We also lift up your brother struggling with depression and pray that God will comfort and strengthen him. We speak life and peace into his mind and heart. Let us encourage him with the words of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We come against every spirit of fear, anxiety, and worry, and we declare that God's peace will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Let us join together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this family, asking for Your mercy, grace, and provision. We pray for a job opening for the husband, complete healing for the mother, comfort for the brother, and strength for the entire family to overcome these challenges. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We feel your burden and we're lifting it up to Jesus. We claim 1 Timothy 5:5, "She who is truly a widow, left alone, has set her hope on God and continues in petitions and prayers night and day." We're standing in the gap with you, praying fervently for your family.

We declare that your husband will find a job that meets your family's needs, just as God provided for the Israelites in the wilderness (Exodus 16:1-36). We speak abundance and provision over your family, trusting that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

For your mother, we're claiming Psalm 103:3, "Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We believe that Jesus is healing her, restoring her strength, and removing any signs of dementia. We declare that she will walk and swallow freely, just as she did before.

We're also interceding for your brother, wrapping him in the love and comfort of Psalm 34:18. We believe that God is strengthening him, giving him peace, and pulling him out of the depths of depression.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' mighty name, trusting that He is working everything out for your family's good (Romans 8:28). We're here for you, and we'll keep you in our prayers. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep hoping in the Lord. He's got you!

Heavenly Father,

We lift up this family in their time of deep need. Your Word says in Psalm 46:1: "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Lord, show Your mercy and provide for every financial need—covering the mortgage, care fees, and tuition. Open doors of employment and supply abundantly as promised in Philippians 4:19: "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus."

We pray for complete healing for their mother. As Jeremiah 17:14 says: "Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for You are the one I praise." Restore her ability to swallow and walk, strengthen her heart, and renew her mind with no signs of dementia.

Comfort her in her struggles and bring peace to their brother, guarding his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Wrap this family in Your love, healing, and provision.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
