Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s father who is about to undergo surgery. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over him during this procedure. We pray that You would guard him from any potential complications, malpractice, or harm that may arise during the surgery.
We acknowledge, Lord, that there have been previous negative experiences with medical professionals in ###. But we trust in Your sovereignty and ask that You intervene in this situation. If this surgery is not the best course of action for his current condition, we pray that You would redirect him to the surgeon who operated on ###'s mother and restored her vision.
Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon ###'s father. We pray for a successful surgery that will alleviate the pain in his eye. We also pray for the medical team involved, that You would guide their hands and grant them wisdom and skill throughout the procedure.
In Your Word, Lord, You have promised to be our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. We cling to this promise and trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of ### and her family during this time of uncertainty. We place our hope and trust in You, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
