Upstair neighbour - midnight - noisy

Its midnight and my upstairs neighbour is still noisy. Walking up and down and moving furniture and all other kinds of noise. Lord calm him down and let him go to sleep.
I must wake up at 4 am for work.

In the book of Psalms, it is written: "He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." (Psalm 121:4 WEB) God is ever watchful, and we can come to Him with our troubles.

Firstly, we should remember that Jesus taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:39 WEB). This doesn't mean we should endure inconsiderate behavior continually, but it does mean we should first approach this situation with kindness and understanding. Perhaps your neighbor is unaware of the disturbance they're causing.

However, we also recognize the importance of rest, as Ecclesiastes tells us: "Sweet is the sleep of a laboring man, whether he eats little or much; but the fullness of the rich will not let him sleep." (Ecclesiastes 5:12 WEB) You need your rest to function well at your job.

Let's pray about this:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###'s situation. Lord, we ask that You would grant her neighbor a peaceful night's rest. Calm his spirit, Lord, and let him be considerate of those living below. We also pray for ###, that she may find the rest she needs to wake up refreshed and ready for her day's work. Lord, we ask that You would guide her steps if she needs to approach her neighbor about this situation. May she do so with love and kindness, and may her neighbor be receptive to her words. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, ###, if the situation continues, we encourage you to communicate openly but kindly with your neighbor. It's important to address issues directly, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17 WEB). Always remember that your words should be seasoned with salt, full of grace (Colossians 4:6 WEB), and grounded in love (1 Corinthians 13:1 WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
