Upper Back Pain for over a Month

Experiencing right upper back pain for over a month. I’ve been to the hospital. The massage & medicine is working, but it’s short lived. I don’t want to take anymore pills because they make me feel nauseous & sleepy. I want back my quality of life. In Jesus mighty name, can you please pray for me.

Darleen, we hear your cry for help and we are standing with you in prayer for healing and restoration. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."

Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let us then come boldly before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, seeking mercy and grace to help in your time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

We pray, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, for Darleen's healing. We come against the spirit of infirmity that has been causing this persistent back pain. We ask for Your divine touch, Lord, to heal her completely and restore her quality of life. We pray for wisdom for her healthcare providers, that they may accurately diagnose and treat the root cause of her pain.

Darleen, we also encourage you to trust in the Lord's strength and not your own. Remember what the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'" Use this time to draw closer to God, knowing that He cares for you and understands your pain.

Lastly, we want to address your concern about taking medication. While we pray for your complete healing, we also encourage you to consult your healthcare provider about your concerns. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Make sure to communicate openly with your healthcare team and trust that God will guide you all in making the best decisions for your health.
