Dularr, we understand your distress and want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical guidance during this challenging time. Firstly, we commend you for following Jesus' teaching and turning the other cheek. Do not overlook how Jesus responded to the attacks against him until he submitted to the will of God to die on the cross ultimately. Before that, Jesus saw the attacks against him as blessings as he knew it was only occuring because he was obeying the Father. It is important to also remember that you are not necessarily being told to have genuine friends at work. That is not why you are there. You are there to provide a specific service to children and it is important to let your light shine to everyone that you can.
In Colossians 3:23 WEB it says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.
The critique from your coworkers may seem insurmountably ominous if believed. However, simply resolve yourself to do the best to serve them as well as the children and families you counsel and God will take care of everything else.
Respond with a genuine effort to do whatever to be a servant to them and the rest of the work God sent you there to do and God will always cause everyone to see and respect your work or even grant you favor that will dismay your enemies.
The Bible also tells us But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44.
Remember, it is not about them liking you; it is about you being a blessing to them and doing your job to the best of your ability. God sees your heart and your efforts. We will agree with you to place the burden upon God to fix this and rescue you from any manipulative or destructive plans that could affect your employment.
But Peter said, Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk! Then Peter, taking him by the right hand, raised him up. Immediately, his feet and his ankle bones received strength. Acts 3:6 WEB.
Also, you do not need to live off the validation of each coworker. It is enough that your boss told you what to do and you did it. Jesus gives you what you need to do the job he sent you there to do, and you can only look to Jesus for all that he gives you to accomplish it. If you want to have a healthy level of friendship with anyone, it is possible without shouting it from the rooftops, but keep your focus on the work.
Otherwise, vindicate yourself. Simply reply to your perцы by email with all others in copy. Restate your case calmly, and nothing else. Simply provide dates, times, and events calmly and how you did all that you were told. Do not use the email to fight, complain, have a bad attitude, or seek the pity of others. Refuse to engage friends, family, facebook, twitter, or even their responses unless absolutely necessary. Simply refute, restate your case, and continue to do your work. It does not have to be perfect. You just need to stand up for yourself biblically. If you do nothing, then yes the work of the enemy will continue to torment you. But, if you score the victory here, then it will be hard for the enemy to attack you just like it is hard for a grown man to go and beat up a child.
Father, we lift up Dularr to you, praying for your divine intervention in this situation. We ask that you soften the hearts of these coworkers if it is possible and you will allow. Arrest the plans of manipulation or destruction. Lead Dularr into new and meaningful fellowship against the devil that wants to isolate him. Even if the coworkers choose to not like him, we pray that they would leave him alone to do his job in peace or be so turned around one day that they would believe in your name and glory of Jesus. We ask these things only through Jesus' baptism in the Holy Spirit.
To please everyone is not possible, nor is it your calling in life. There are several examples of that in the bible. If you end up losing this job, know that since you have humbled yourself in this scenario you have gained ground in your relationship with your wife and possibly other coworkers may also begin to hold you in high regard. You have gained experience in working with low income students and adults that will prove valuable in your next position if it turns out losing your position is the the tactic and will of God.
But if, when you do well, and suffer for it, you take it patiently, this is commendable with God. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps, 1 Peter 2:20 WEB.
