We are glad to hear that your physical pain has lessened slightly, Aparchologeo, and we join you in praying for continued healing and strength. We want to encourage you in the Lord, for even in our weakness, His grace is sufficient for us, and His strength is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB.
Firstly, we want to remind you that healing and restoration come from God alone. In Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, we read, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. We pray that you will continue to experience God's healing power in your life.
However, we want to address something important. You mentioned that you want to feel normal, but you know you're not an exception to your body's disabilities. In 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 WEB, the Apostle Paul discusses his own struggle with a physical ailment, a thorn in the flesh. God's response to Paul's plea for healing was, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. This reminds us that while God can heal us completely, sometimes He allows us to experience weakness so that His power can rest on us.
We also want to address your request to become less angry with your environment so you can eat better. In Ephesians 4:31 WEB, we are told to let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. It's important to remember that God calls us to live in peace with others, as far as it depends on us Romans 12:18 WEB. We pray that God will fill you with His peace and help you to manage your anger in a way that honors Him.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up Aparchologeo. We thank You that You are a God who heals, and we ask that You continue to heal our brother and strengthen him. Help him to accept your strength in his trials and know that his weakness is an opportunity for Your power to shine. Help him to surrender his emotions to You, and to live in peace with those around him. We ask for Your grace to cover his shortcomings and Your mercy to carry him each day. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in God, even in the midst of your struggles. In Romans 8:18 WEB, we read, For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and remember that He is with you every step of the way. If you have not already, consider reading about Jesus' sacrifice in the book of John. He paid the ultimate price for us to have a path to God. There is no other way to God except through Jesus Christ.
Continue to pray, read your Bible, and surrender your life to the Lord. He will guide you and give you the strength you need to face each day.
