Disciple of Prayer
Hey everyone, I wanted to give an update and ask for your prayers as I continue on this journey. I’ve recently found out that my ex-girlfriend, Maeve, is coming to Canada on Christmas Day. As you know, I’ve been praying for clarity and patience, and I believe God has been guiding me through this waiting season. I’ve felt strongly that she will come to me, as confirmed by three independent witnesses, and now it seems like things are moving in that direction. I’m asking for your prayers as this meeting approaches—that Maeve comes to me with her heart open and ready to talk, free from fear or anger, and that I am prepared mentally, spiritually, and physically to handle the meeting with grace and wisdom. I truly love her and want to reflect Christ’s love in all that I say and do. If it’s in God’s plan, I would love for this to lead to a committed, God-fearing relationship with Maeve. My heart longs for us to honor God together, and I pray that this meeting is positive and aligns with His will for both of our lives. Please also pray that Maeve comes to know Christ in a life-changing way and that I remain faithful and grounded as I wait for His perfect timing. Thank you so much for standing with me in prayer and for your encouragement. It means so much to me, and I’ve already seen the power of prayer working in this situation. God bless you all! I kindly ask that any responses to this prayer request be offered in a spirit of encouragement, understanding, and support. While I welcome Scripture-based guidance, I ask that it not come across as judgmental, rigid, or dismissive. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 7:1-2: “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” We are also encouraged in Ephesians 4:29: “Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up, as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.” My goal in sharing this request is to seek prayer and uplifting words during this season of waiting and growth. I trust that we can all approach this with hearts full of grace, as reflected in Colossians 4:6: “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” Thank you for joining me in prayer and for respecting this approach.
