In the name of Jesus Christ the Doctor resport on Javisha and Danarris Mason babygirl Raya Joy, she’s having a better day! These are improvements that we want soon. Oxygen requirements to go down. ( which is the amount of oxygen that they need to give her. When that happens they a use a less abrasive breathing machine.) They are continuing to monitor her blood gas(This shows her lung function) They need this to continue improve. They are treating her PDA valve. This valve usually closes after birth and it’s wide open which can cause complications. This evening they will start a 3 day treatment with ibuprofen which will aid in closing the valve. During this time shewillonly receive iv nutrition and no breast milk. This is to keep the stomach acids at bay and not cause irritation. They did an ultrasound onherhead today and it showed no bleeding. The doctor was very happy about this because she’s seen bleeding coincide with some of the complications that Raya has had. Raya is a very active baby to pull on her cords and kick her feet. She’s one week old today and always ready showing that she’s a fighter. Thank you everyone for your continued prayers and support. In the name of Jesus Raya Joy the fighter and God will heal every thing that going wrong in her body Amen .
