We understand your concern for your son and commend your faith and efforts in praying for him and taking spiritual action. Let us continue to intercede for him together, trusting in the power of God to heal and restore.
Firstly, we must remember the words of Jesus in Mark 9:29, "This kind can come out by nothing, but by prayer and fasting." Let us intensify our prayers and consider fasting for your son's complete deliverance and healing.
We should pray Psalm 68:1, "Let God arise, and let his enemies be scattered. Let them who hate him also flee before him." We cast out any spirits of paranoia, suspicion, negativity, accusation, argumentativeness, and condemnation that may be influencing your son. We speak peace, sound mind, and joy over him in Jesus' name.
We also pray for wisdom for your son's doctor. Proverbs 4:20-22 reminds us, "My son, attend to my words. Turn not away from the sayings of my mouth. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the middle of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body." We ask God to guide the doctor's decisions regarding your son's medication and treatment.
Let us also pray for your son's spiritual growth. We are encouraged that he was receptive to the Word of God and attended church with you. Colossians 3:16 says, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord." We pray that the Word of God will take deep root in your son's heart and that he will continue to grow in his faith.
As to your question, remember the scripture John 10:10, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." It is possible that your son's medication may be contributing to his behavioral changes, but we must also be vigilant against spiritual attacks. Trust in God's ability to reveal the source of your son's struggles and to provide the solution. It is good to pray, "and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." as in Matthew 6:13.
Continue to trust in God, and we stand with you in prayer. John 14:13-14 Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
If it is possible, discuss with your son the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in prayer. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the son of our beloved sister to You. Lord, we thank You for the progress we have seen in him and we trust in Your ability to complete the good work You have started.
We cast out every spirit that is not of You and we speak healing, deliverance, and restoration over his life. We pray for wisdom for his doctor and for divine intervention in his treatment.
We ask that You will draw him closer to You, that he will come to acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and grow in his faith.
We pray all this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
Amen.
