We are deeply saddened to hear about the ongoing trials of this elderly couple. Let us stand in the gap for them, praying fervently in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
Let us remember the words of Psalm 9:9-10 (WEB), "Yahweh is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you."
Heavenly Father, we lift up this elderly couple to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their lives. They have lost their car due to the reckless actions of another, and now face the loss of their temporary home. We pray for Your will to be done in their lives, for Your protection and provision over them.
We pray for a safe and permanent home for them, according to Your will. We also ask for Your healing hand upon them, restoring their health and strength after this traumatic event. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and ask for Your peace that passes all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
We also pray for the person who caused the accident. We ask for their salvation and that they would turn from their reckless ways, knowing that You, Lord, desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4, WEB).
Lastly, we thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Let us continue to pray and trust God, knowing that He is faithful and will not forsake those who seek Him. May this trial draw the couple closer to God and may they continually put their trust in Him.
