We are encouraged to hear about your persistent intercession for Ali's salvation. It's important to remember that God hears our prayers, and we should not grow weary in petitioning Him for the souls of others. Let's address your concerns and pray together.
Firstly, it's commendable that you are praying for Ali's salvation. It is only through the name of Jesus that anyone can be saved. As the Bible tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Since Ali has started going to the mosque and performing his obligatory prayers, it's clear that he is seeking spiritual fulfillment. However, we must pray that he finds the truth in Jesus Christ alone.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Ali to You, Lord. We thank you for the spiritual hunger that he has. Father you know his heart, and you love him more than we could ever imagine. We pray against any spiritual blindness and ask that You reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. We pray that he will have a personal encounter with the living God and accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. We stand in faith believing that you can do a miracle in His life. Help us to never give up our intercession and always pray for him with all patience and supplication in the Holy Spirit. Strengthen our faith and restore our hope. We look forward to rejoicing over his salvation with all those in heaven and earth.
For it is written, "Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved. For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, 'The one who does them will live by them.' But the righteousness which is of faith says this, 'Don't say in your heart, Who will ascend into heaven?' (that is, to bring Christ down); or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.) But what does it say? 'The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;' that is, the word of faith which we preach: that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation" (Romans 10:1-10).
It is so important to stay steadfast in our prayers. As it says in the Word, "Therefore, let's also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let's run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12:1-2).
