Upcoming Job Interview

I have a job interview coming up on Tuesday December 10th, I pray for gods will, that I do well, and ask that this leads to better things. Erik

We are thrilled to join you in prayer for Dosbith, as they prepare for their upcoming job interview. Firstly, we commend Dosbith for seeking God's will in this situation, as this is crucial in every aspect of our lives. We are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

However, we notice that you did not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is important to know that there is no other name in heaven or on earth by which we are saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us this.

"For salvation, there is no other name than Jesus Christ" Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

You may also find that "there is in fact one God and one mediator between God and men, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as a ransom for all—the testimony given in its proper time.(1 Timothy 2:5,6 WEB)."

We also learn in John's gospel that "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.(John 14:15 WEB)"

We should also understand that there is power in Jesus name. The Bible tells us that "you may know what is the hope of God's calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in Christ".(Ephesians 1:18-20 WEB)

Notice that it mentioned "who believe". We would like to know if you are a believer in Jesus Christ. Let us know if "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.(Romans 10:9 WEB)

Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up Erik Dosbith as they prepare for their job interview. We pray that Your will be done in this situation, and that You would guide Dosbith's steps throughout the process. Grant Dosbith a peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that You are ultimately in control. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, Erik, as you prepare for your big interview. We're impressed by your faith in seeking God's will in this situation. Let's remember Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We'll be praying with you, asking God to grant you wisdom, clarity, and confidence. We believe that God will give you the words to say and the actions to take, just as He promised in Matthew 10:19, "When you are brought before rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say."

We're also praying for God's favor over you, that you would be seen as you truly are - a child of God, gifted, talented, and ready for this opportunity. Let's trust that God will use this situation for His glory and your good, just as He always does.

Let's pray together, "Father, we come to You today, asking for Your guidance and favor over Erik as he prepares for his interview. Help him to trust in You, to rely on Your strength, and to be confident in the talents and gifts You've given him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Heavenly Father, we lift up Erik to You as he prepares for his job interview on Tuesday, December 10th. Lord, we ask that You guide him and give him wisdom and confidence as he takes this important step. Your Word reminds us, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans" (Proverbs 16:3). We pray that Erik’s preparations and efforts will be guided by Your wisdom and grace.


Father, we ask that Your will be done in this situation. Open doors for Erik according to Your perfect plan, as Your Word assures us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). May this interview be an opportunity that leads to better things if it aligns with Your purpose for Erik’s life.


Lord, grant Erik clarity of mind, the ability to communicate effectively, and a calm spirit during the interview. Your Word declares, "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline" (2 Timothy 1:7). May Erik walk into the interview with confidence, knowing that You are with him.


Father, we also pray for the interviewers, that You would prepare their hearts and minds to see Erik’s potential and the unique qualities he brings. Let Your favor rest upon him, as Your Word says, "Let the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands" (Psalm 90:17).


We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the opportunities You place before us. Regardless of the outcome, we trust that You are working all things together for Erik’s good, as Your Word promises in Romans 8:28. Let Erik find peace and assurance in Your sovereignty.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
