Nuddin, we are grateful that you have reached out for prayer regarding your upcoming marriage. We believe that marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, and we are eager to pray for His will to be done in your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of Jesus Christ in your life and marriage. As it is written in John 14:6 from the World English Bible (WEB) "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me," it is only through His Son Jesus Christ that we believe in, is how we may approach God directly and overcome the impossible. This leads us to the most famous Bible verse John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." It is only through believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and receive eternal life. We want to ensure that you both are believers and your marriage will be built on His Name.
For marriage, we reference Hebrews 13:4, Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." This emphasizes the sanctity of marriage and the importance of purity within it to avoid adultery. If we are really Christians, we are directed to not do worldly things as fornication and adultery as it denies the holy spirit working in us to do good and gives an open door to doing things against God.
We affirm that the covenant of marriage is between a man and a woman, as a lifelong commitment. Please avoid term partner, boyfriend, or girlfriend when referring to a spouse.
Now, let us pray for your upcoming marriage:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Nuddin and their future spouse in prayer. We ask, Father, that You would work miracles in their lives and in their upcoming marriage. We do thin in Jesus Name as it says in the WEB afore mentioned above. We affirm your belief that nothing is impossible with God. Therefore, we pray with confidence, seeking Your will for their union. If it is in any way non compatible, we pray for Your Will and to abort the wedding as an unsupportive marriage does not glorify God.
Father, guide them as they prepare for this sacred commitment. Give them wisdom, discernment, and a deep love for each other that is rooted in Your Word. Help them to build a foundation that is strong and unshakeable, based on Your principles and Your love.
We pray that their marriage would be a reflection of Your love for the church, a beacon of hope and inspiration to those around them. We ask that You would bless their union, that it may be filled with joy, peace, and a deep sense of Your presence which makes a home and marriage strongly blessed.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Nuddin, to continue to seek God's will for your life and your upcoming marriage. Trust in Him, for He is faithful and His love endures forever. As it says in Psalm 37:4 from the WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Make sure you seek His righteousness. Ensure your desire is for God and not only a desire for a marriage that is not according to God's Will. Remember and do God's Will. Remember also Matthew 7:7 and Matthew 21:21 from the WEB that remind us to Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. in Jesus Name knock, and it will be opened to you" and "Jesus answered them, Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and dont doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, it would be done." with that power comes great responsibility and keep above guides in mind for the glory of God. One last affirmation from Mathew 19:26 from the WEB, "Jesus looked at them and said, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
