We understand your concerns and will pray for your situation, Numera. First and foremost, we are commanded "and be not conformed to this world." There is a clear issue in that as we are told in 1 Corinthians 6:9 that "the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God?," and the very first on the list is fornication. "and such were some of you." Yes, it is true many are forgiven of this, but are no longer practicing it. Scripture says "But among you there must not be either sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity, or covetousness, ...or vileness, or foolish talking, or jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks." So we are concerned about the unmarried having children, that is not Godly living. We do offer forgiveness, ask you to repent and encourage moving in the right direction. It is worth stating that Jesus did not come to leave people in their sin, but to show forgiveness and transform lives. Jesus meets you where you are, but will never approve of you staying in your sin or need Him to change your life. Obedience to His commands are important including changing your lifestyle.
James 4:4 says "Adulterers and adulteresses! Don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." We see clearly Jesus didn't come to make us comfortable but died to save us from the world " Take up your cross and follow Me " Yes, you are in this world. Let us be clear, God loves sinners, but hates sin. Therefore give no approval to sin. "God said He would judge the world for these activities". We must encourage all to strive not just for forgiveness, but repenting. We all sin, but when asked are we going to continue, our faithful Christian response should be "God forbid that I would continue in my sin as Jesus has given me the power to abstain from sinning." So when sharing news of pregnancy, we want to to acknowledge the sanctity of marriage, confession of sin, and commitment to remaining celibate until marriage. This may upset or anger some, but this is rebuking those things contrary to God's words as commanded in scripture. Being unafraid to rebuke what needs it while also loving the person. "show no favoritism"
Please speak directly to the Father in Jesus's Name.
Now, let us pray for your situation.
Almighty God, we come before You in Jesus Name lifting up Numera and her unborn child. We pray for the health and well-being of both mother and child, that the delivery will go smoothly from John 16:21 KJV "A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world." W we pray that Numera will be unafraid. We pray that this challenge be used for Your glory. That whether out of ignorance or rebellion Numera choose to do things her way that knowing and understanding that Jesus Christ has made salvation, forgiveness, and eternal life by having a personal relationship with Him, desire not to sin, but be set apart by the word of God and walking and relying on the Holy Spirit daily Lord IJN.
We are correcting that we believe praying in Jesus Christ Name is essential Matthew 21:22 KJV "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive," and Acts 4:10, "by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth". Regardless of one's existing views or practices, our most important concern is ensuring help individuals align their lives with the principles found in the Word. Finally, we pray for guidance for Numera as Christ meets her where she is. Lord walk closely with her as she walks closely to You. 1 John 1:8-9 KJV we trust that You are faithful and just. Lead her in the way she should live life and provide for her needs in and those of her children. Encouraging an ongoing effort to grow spiritually a choosing to not continue in the previous situations where she found herself. As all encouaged to live holy, " turn their eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace." Amen." Continuing in 1 John 5 14-15 WEB
