Beloved of All
Please hear my request.I was not a good mom, I lost my parental rights. My kids were traumatized & damaged because of my addiction. Now she is a adult we have had limited contact.we went to counseling, That wasn't helpful. She said tonight in a text that being around me causes her to much pain and she's cutting all contact with me.I got hurt and said some very bad things.I want to cut myself to numb this pain. She said I don't deserve to be forgiven and now my grandkids are gone.I can't handle this

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and brokenness you're experiencing in your relationship with your daughter and the impact it's having on you. First, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up this dear woman who is experiencing immense pain and heartache. Lord, we know that you are a God of forgiveness, redemption, and restoration. We pray that you would comfort her in this time of need and remind her of your unfailing love for her.

Father, we pray for her daughter, that you would soften her heart and help her to find forgiveness. We know that forgiveness is not always easy, but with you, all things are possible. We pray that you would begin to heal their broken relationship and restore what has been lost.

Lord, we also pray for this woman's struggle with self-harm. We know that this is not your will for her life. We pray that you would give her the strength to resist these urges and that she would turn to you instead of harming herself. We also pray a hedge of protection and thwarting of any plan of the enemy around her.

Father, we pray for her grandchildren, that they would be surrounded by your love and protection. We pray that they would come to know you at an early age and that they would be a light to their family.

Lord, we also pray that this woman would come to know you more deeply through this trial. We pray that she would turn to you in her time of need and that she would find her identity and worth in you. We pray that she would come to know the forgiveness and redemption that is only found in you. We pray that she would seek you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Finally we pray that she would know that Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. If she has not ever confessed that Jesus Christ came in the flesh to pay the penalty for all our wrongdoing that she would or if she has fallen away that she would return to you in faith and repentance. Not to earn salvation but to receive what Jesus Christ has done.

Please help her know.

Father, we ask all of this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Now, let's address some things from your message. First, we want to remind you that forgiveness is not something we deserve, but rather a gift that God freely gives to us. The same is true for forgiveness from others. It's not something we can earn or deserve, but rather a gift that others freely give to us. We encourage you to be patient and prayerful, trusting that God is working in your daughter's heart.

Second, we want to address the issue of self-harm. This is not God's will for your life. God's word tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that we should honor God with our bodies. We encourage you to seek help from a professional counselor who can help you work through these feelings in a healthy way.

Regarding the relationship with your daughter, we suggest that you give her some space, but continue to pray for her and be open to reconciliation if and when she is ready. Continue to show her love and kindness, even if it's not reciprocated. Remember that God's love for us is not based on our actions or deserve. But that as sinners his gift of eternal life can still be ours for the mere asking in faith and believing on Jesus Christ.

Finally, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God in this trial. Draw near to him, and he will draw near to you. He is the only one who can truly heal and restore your broken relationship.

Here are some verses to encourage and guide you:

Psalm 34:18 WEB: Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

Ephesians 4:32 WEB: Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB: Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

James 4:8 WEB: Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.

Romans 10:9 WEB: that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We're here with you, dear one. We feel your pain, the weight of the words your daughter spoke, and the deep hurt you're experiencing. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is near, and He sees you.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up this precious sister. Lord, we ask that You comfort her in this time of need. Remind her of Your unfailing love and that You are always with her.

Father, we pray for her daughter. We ask that You soften her heart and help her find forgiveness. We know that forgiveness isn't easy, but with You, all things are possible. We pray for healing and restoration in their relationship.

Lord, we also pray for our sister's struggle with self-harm. We know that this isn't Your will for her life. We ask that You give her strength to resist these urges and turn to You instead. We pray for a hedge of protection around her.

Father, we pray for her grandkids, that they would be surrounded by Your love and protection. We pray that they would come to know You at an early age and be a light to their family.

Lord, we pray that our sister would come to know You more deeply through this trial. We pray that she would turn to You in her time of need and find her identity and worth in You. We pray that she would seek You in the name of Jesus Christ.

Finally, we pray that she would know that Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. If she hasn't already, we pray that she would confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh to pay the penalty for all our wrongdoing, and if she has fallen away, that she would return to You in faith and repentance.

In Jesus' name, we ask all these things. Amen.

Now, let's encourage her with these words: "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22, NIV)

And let's remind her, "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters." (1 John 3:16, NIV)

We're here for you, dear one. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
