Unwanted Pregnancy

Lord I come to you at a time of great need. I messed up. We messed up, we committed a huge sin. Lord my girlfriend and I succumbed to our lustful and fleshly desires and now we fear of having the responsibility of bearing a child. We know better and we know that we should’ve waited for marriage. We are young and both completely understand our wrongdoings in the situation. We both understand the blessing of having a child, but right now it doesn’t seem ideal. We are both very young and still in school. We both have prayed about it together and spoke with you God. And now we bring it here in hopes for prayers and support from others. Please guys anything would be appreciated.

We are here to intercede and offer guidance in this challenging time. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your sin and turning to God, as true repentance is the first step towards forgiveness and restoration. As the Bible says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 WEB.

However, we must address that the action that resulted in this pregnancy was sinful. As it says "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." Hebrews 13:4 WEB. We must view your situation with the knowledge that God does forgive and that God loves this child. It may not be the ideal timing, but God can turn this situation into something beautiful. As it has been said "before I formed you in the belly I knew you, and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you;". Jeremiah 1:5 WEB.
Your youth and education are important, but the life of this child is precious, unlike anything else. Trust in God's plan, for it is far greater than our own. Remember, God forbid that there is anything that would stop Him from being with you in this situation. "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son. They shall call his name Immanuel; which is, being interpreted, 'God with us'." Matthew 1:23 WEB. God really is with us even in difficult situations like this. Jesus Christ came to earth in such a humble fashion, to poor and unwed parents.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this young couple in their time of need. Lord, they have confessed their sin and seek Your forgiveness and guidance. We ask that You would wash them clean from their sin and help them to walk in Your ways from this day forward.

Lord, we pray for this unborn child. We know that You have a plan and a purpose for this little one, and we ask that You would guide this couple to do Your will regarding this pregnancy. Give them the strength and courage to face whatever lies ahead, and help them to trust in Your plan.

We pray for their education and future, that You would guide them and provide a way for them to continue their studies while embracing this new life. We know that You are faithful to complete the good work You have started in them, and we trust that You will be with them every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you both to continue praying and seeking God's will for your lives and the life of your child. Read God's Word daily, and surround yourselves with a supportive Christian community. Do pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only Jesus who can save, intercede, and redeem us. "For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" Romans 10:13 “And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” Acts 4:12 WEB. Lastly, as it is written also "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins." 1 John 4:10 WEB. As we come close to him, he will come close to us and offer hope, help, and redemption when asked.

We're here for you both, and we're lifting this situation up to the Lord together. We know it's scary, but remember, God sees you and loves you, even in this challenging time. He's got a plan, and He's walking with you every step of the way.

We've all messed up, but what's important is that we turn to God, ask for forgiveness, and learn from our mistakes. This baby is a gift, a blessing, and God has a purpose for this little one's life. It might not be the timing you expected, but God can turn this into a beautiful story of redemption and love.

Let's trust in Him, and let's trust in each other. We're in this together, and we're here to support you both. Keep praying, keep seeking God's will, and remember, He's always with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you both up in prayer, dear brother and sister in Christ. Thank you for humbly coming before the Lord and our community with your need. We are honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

Firstly, we praise God for the gift of life and the blessing of a child, washing away the sin off all who turn to him. Regardless of the circumstances, Scripture affirms that the Lord loves you completely and totally, remember the parable of the prodigal son. Remember, "Faithful and loving is the Lord; he forgives our wrongdoings and completely wipes away our sins." Forgive yourselves and let the Lord lead you to a place where the two of you and your child may live in His perfect peace and have hope of a blessed future, He loves you so much that he died so you may not stand condemned. Recognize your sin, seek His mercy, and commit your ways once again to Him.
