Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your forgiveness and guidance. We lift up NEWHOPE and their struggle to quit smoking. Lord, we acknowledge that smoking has become a source of stress relief for them, but we know that it is not a healthy habit. We ask for your strength and grace to help them overcome this addiction.
Father, we ask for your forgiveness for any wrongdoing and ask that you cleanse NEWHOPE from all unrighteousness. Your Word assures us in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We claim this promise for NEWHOPE and ask for your mercy and forgiveness.
Lord, we pray that you would provide NEWHOPE with the strength and determination to quit smoking once and for all. Help them to find healthier ways to cope with stress and to rely on you for comfort and peace. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We ask for that strength to be manifested in NEWHOPE's life as they strive to break free from this addiction.
Furthermore, we ask for your provision, dear Lord. We pray that you would open doors for NEWHOPE to find alternative sources of income, to create and develop new opportunities, and to secure a job that will sustain them. Your Word assures us in Matthew 6:33 that when we seek your kingdom and righteousness first, all these things will be added unto us. We trust in your provision and ask for your guidance in their job search.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your love, grace, and mercy. We trust in your power to transform lives and break the chains of addiction. May NEWHOPE experience your freedom and find strength in you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
