We are glad to pray with you and bring your requests before God. Thank you for acknowledging that it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. We are happy to pray in His name. It is important to know that God knows all our needs and the details even if we do not speak them out loud. Like the scripture says, Before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
We lift up your unspoken requests to the Lord, trusting that He knows the details and will answer according to His will and His best interest for you. We pray for your spouse, that God would ease their pain and grant them a long life, so that you both can enjoy a blessed marriage together, in the name of Jesus.
Let us remember the psalm of David:
O Lord my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.
O Lord, you have brought up my soul from the grave: you have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
For his anger endures but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalms 30:2-5
In our marriages, it is important to maintain godly principles and follow the biblical guidelines of love, respect, and faithfulness. We are to encourage and build up one another, bearing each other's burdens and so fulfilling the law of Christ. As it says in the book of Galatians.
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Galatians 6:2-3
We find in the book of James additional instructions for our relationships.
Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises.
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord,
and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:13-16
Remember to be patient and considerate in your marriage, seeking to glorify God in all that you do. Let us continue to pray for your spouse's healing and a long, blessed life together.
Thank you for bringing your requests before God and before us, and may God richly bless you and your spouse as you continue to seek Him and serve Him together.
