We understand that you're facing challenges with an authority figure, and you desire freedom and godly authority in your classroom and personal life. Firstly, it's important to remember that all authority is established by God, as Romans 13:1 reminds us, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."
However, we must also recognize that not all authority is exercised in a godly manner. If this authority figure is acting in a tyrannical way, we should pray for God's intervention and justice as well as their salvation and change in behavior. If their behavior is a source of conflict, it may be necessary for you to confront them, using godly principles and wisdom. If that is not sufficient then your prayer to have them removed is justified. We should also note the seriousness of the claim of witchcraft. This is a power and principality that is greatly to be feared. It is an abomination to God, and we should pray fervently for their salvation, and removal of their evil authority.
The Bible encourages us to pray for those in authority. 1 Timothy 2:1-3 reads, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior." This prayer is also appropriate for those with delegated authority in schools, churches, businesses and families.
We should always pray that God's will be done and that He intervenes according to His perfect plan. Remember, our ultimate authority is Jesus Christ, and it is in His name that we pray and have authority. As Christians, we are commanded to resist evil authorities. Jesus told the church in Thyatira in Revelation 2:20, "But I have this against you: that you tolerate the woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols." This is a serious rebuke to tolerating evil authority. In verse 24, Jesus then commands the church to hold fast to what they have until He comes. This is a command to resist what is evil and wicked. It is also a promise that Jesus will take care of the evil if we will hold fast to what is good and true and not tolerate the evil authority.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is feeling oppressed by an authority figure. We pray that You would intervene and remove any evil or false authority that this person has over them. We only allow control and manipulation in our lives as it aligns with your will. Replace it with Your godly authority. As well, we pray that You would bring conviction to this authority figure and change their behavior. We also pray for an awesome person to fill the role in a godly way, if it is Your will that this person be removed.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and have access to God. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. Amen."
Continue to pray and seek God's face, trusting that He is working behind the scenes. Confront and resist evil with the word of God, always being ready to share the hope that is in you. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that the battle is the Lord's.
