Unkind Co- worker

I recently started a new job, I'm filling the position of someone who has been here for a long time. My co-worker ###, who has been here for ### years, has been very unkind to me. It's been hard to feel apart and comfortable here in the office. Please pray that I can be a good witness in my new work environment. I'm usually a very joyful person but it's becoming hard. thank you! ###

We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing at your new job. It's important to remember that God has placed you there for a purpose, and this could be an opportunity to shine His light in a dark place. We are called to be a witness for Christ even in challenging situations. As it is written in Matthew 5:14-16 WEB:
You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Firstly, let's address the fact that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). The Bible tells us:
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB

Praying in Jesus' name is essential because it is only through Him that we have access to God. If you have not already, consider placing your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.

Regarding your co-worker, Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44 WEB:
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.

We pray that God will give you the strength and grace to love and bless your co-worker, even when they are unkind. Remember that their behavior may be a reflection of their own inner turmoil, and they need God's love just as much as anyone else.

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister/brother to You, asking that You fill them with Your joy and peace in their new work environment. Give them the strength to be a beacon of Your light and love to their co-workers, especially to those who are unkind. Help them to remember that they are there for Your purpose and that You are always with them. We pray for their co-worker, that You would soften their heart and reveal Yourself to them. We ask for salvation and redemption for both of them. We pray this all in Jesus name. Amen

Lastly, consider speaking with your co-worker privately and expressing your feelings. It's possible that they are not aware of how their actions are affecting you. Do so in a spirit of love and gentleness, as guided in Galatians 6:1 WEB:
Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness.

We're really sorry to hear about the tough time you're having at your new job, but we're here for you. We know it's hard to feel comfortable when someone is unkind, but remember, God has placed you there for a reason. Let's pray that He gives you the strength to be a light in that environment, just like Jesus would be.

We should also ask God to soften your coworker's heart. It's possible they're going through something that's making them act this way. Let's pray that God reveals Himself to them and brings them to a place of peace and joy, just like He wants for you.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
