We understand that you are seeking God's assistance for John to gain admission into the University of Cape Town for a Mechatronic degree, and for financial aid through bursaries and scholarships. We are here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for this situation.
Firstly, we would like to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. The Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. This is very important to remember as we approach God.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up John to You. Lord, we ask that You guide him as he seeks admission to the University of Cape Town for a Mechatronic degree. Open the doors that need to be opened, and close those that should remain shut. Provide him with the wisdom and discernment to make the right decisions throughout this process.
We also pray for Your provision regarding bursaries and scholarships. May You supply all his needs according to Your riches in glory. Help him to trust in You, knowing that You are the source of all blessings.
Lord, we ask that You prepare John for his future. Guide him in Your truth and teach him, for You are the God of his salvation; in You he will trust throughout his educational journey Psalm 25:5 WEB.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who sits at Your right hand and intercedes for us. Amen.
Remember, God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB. Trust in Him, and encourage John to do the same. We encourage John to seek God's will for his life and to pursue his degree with diligence and faith.
Lastly, we would like to leave you with this verse: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Encourage John to trust in God throughout this process, and we are confident that God will direct his paths.
Thaynor you also need to make sure to pray and encourage John to be praying in Jesus Name and not just as to God with the closing of using the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Remind him that Jesus is the only way to approach God the Father. We pray for you as well to be encouraged and guided by this basic tenant of the Christian faith.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
